Silver Jubilee Law College was established in memory of the Silver Jubilee of Diocese of Neyyattinkara. The Government of Kerala accorded sanction to introduce for five-year Integrated BA LL. B course at the Silver Jubilee Law College, Poovachal, Kattakada, Thiruvananthapuram in the self-financing stream. The course extends over a period of ten semesters. Each semester consists of 90 working days. Classes will be conducted regularly during working days. The course will be in accordance with the scheme and syllabi of the five year BA LL. B Integrated course of University of Kerala.
Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary or the Plus Two examination recognized by the Government of Kerala with not less than 45% marks or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the University of Kerala with the minimum prescribed marks are eligible for being considered for admission to the five year Integrated BA LL. B courses. In the case of SC and ST candidates, the percentage of marks will be relaxed by 5%. The candidates belonging to OBC categories will get a relaxation of 3%. Total number of intake will be sixty. Out of this, thirty seats shall be filled through the Kerala Law Entrance Examination conducted by the Government of Kerala and the remaining thirty seats shall be filled by the Management on the basis of the marks scored in the qualifying examination.
1. Application defective in any respect or which do not contain the relevant documents or those received late will be summarily rejected.
2. At the time of the admission, the selected candidates should produce before the Princi pal all original documents to prove their claims made in the application forms.
1. Ragging/any type of misconduct inside and outside the campus towards any student shall be treated as very serious. Ragging is a criminal offence and will be reported to the police.
2. Students and parents shall at the time of admission furnish an undertaking to the effect that the students shall not indulge in ragging or any other prohibited activities.
3. Use of mobile phones inside the campus is prohibited in conformity with the Govern ment order and the court order.
4. Students should be in proper uniform with the campus.
5. No student Organisation owing allegiance to any political party in the State or any other organisation shall be allowed to function inside the college campus.
Students shall compulsorily be in the prescribed uniform dress in the college campus on all regular working days.

The prospectus and application form for admission can be had from the college office (SJLC, Aryanadu) on payment of Rs. 1,000/- and Rs. 500/- for SC/ST candidates. The date of issue of application form and the last date for receipt of application will be notified in newspapers and in the college notice board.
A well-equipped Library with E-library facilities, rare collection of Books, Reports, Periodicals, Journals, Legal database, good space for reading and access to Xerox is available in the prime area of the campus.
Silver Jubilee Law College has digitalclass room equipped with computer multimedia projector, interactive digital board, Internet and LAN connectivity.
With a view to providing acquaintance and familiarization with the social and legal problems, SJLC Legal Aid Clinic is rendering free legal aid in collaboration with the Taluk Legal Service Committee.
